One very special school activity: The students performed a community service activity, making 100 sack lunches. These lunches were delivered to the St. Mary’s Christian Service Center and dispersed through-out our community. Students from grades pre-school through five decorated the lunch sacks and wrote encouraging notes that were included with the lunches. The middle school students assembled the lunches. Our school has been very fortunate, receiving donations from Shelton's Market, Jimmy John's, Harding’s Grocery and our own school families to make this project possible. The school faculty and parents extend a huge "THANK YOU" to everyone who helped us teach the students about what community service and team work are all about.
