Mrs. Amanda Bright

Let me introduce myself; my name is Mrs. Bright (Ms. Amanda, also known as "Teacher"). I am teaching the 3-year-old preschool program here at St. Mary’s School. I am beyond blessed for the opportunity to love and teach these littles, every one of them is a gift from GOD!

A bit about myself: I am 44 years old and have been working with children my entire life. I have attended LMS, SMC and Ivy Tech. I have 20+ years of working in a childcare/preschool setting, always with the ages 3-5. I have spent some time working in an autism center and am a big advocate for autism awareness! All children have different needs and abilities but are all perfect in their own way. God doesn’t make any mistakes! 

I married my husband, Aaron, last December. Our family is blended and consists of 4 children: two boys - Nolan 20 and Caleb 18 and two girls - Olivia 15 and Avery 15 (not twins). We reside in Niles about 4 min from the school. We attend St. Mary’s Catholic Church. I was born and raised in Three Oaks, MI where I enjoyed everything country…. hunting, fishing, four wheelers, gardens, raising rabbits, Berrien County Youth Fair and the list goes on, but my absolute favorite things consist of Starbucks or Dunkin Coffee, Diet Coke and COWS!!!
