Wizard of Oz Field Trip : Children's Dance Workshop

St. Mary's School is attending The Children’s Dance Workshop's youth dance concert at Saint Mary’s College on Friday, May 9 at 10:15. They will present “The Wizard of Oz.” Bonnie Boilini Baxter will welcome the children to the theater with an introduction to the magic of live performance and dance. The unique vision of the Children’s Dance Workshop allows the dance students not only to learn choreography but also participate in the creating of the set pieces and assisting in theconstruction of their costumes . . . dances and performances by children, for children. Another group of more trained dancers, the Michiana Dance Ensemble, will be joining them. The performance will be at O’Laughlin Auditorium and is free. The performance will be about one hour.
